“ Honest food review & service: Wanted to give this a 5/5 for the dine in experience, but we never had our water refilled... so 3.5 but giving this a 4/5 (to be respectful/nice) Love this restaurant as it's my best friend's favorite place to come when she's in town. So we went in, loved that they have a kids menu, as well as a diverse menu. I don't think I've had a bad thing from their menu, from their bahn mi, to their pho. This review will talk about the #1 pho. Their spicy chicken noodle pho is off the chart as well... -#1 pho: 5/5 A good pho stars with the broth, the broth from here is a good mixture of flavors that requires no sriracha are hoisin. You add the lime, and the veggies and boy oh boy you get a delicious combination of flavors that just make a cold day feel so much warmer. Veggies were fresh, the beef and everything in was fresh and well cooked with the broth. The savory piece of this dish is a customizable experience that you can add as much as you want to get that perfect sip. I would have given this a 5, but I felt like we were forgotten for our waters. Which for a dine in experience. ”

“ My husband and I wandered in this modest little shop absolutely starving to death one Saturday morning, this was just what we needed! We were welcomed by the friendly employees and our food started flying out of the pass! We started with an order of the cheesiest crab Rangoon I have ever seen. They were piping hot and the perfect way to start our meal. We also enjoyed an order of their chicken wings, which were crispy and went so perfectly with the dipping sauce. My husband had a vermicelli bowl with beef and golden rolls, he absolutely loved it and I can confirm that it was wonderful. The rolls were crispy and flavorful, the meat juicy and the noodles always soak up the juices in a magical way. I had their special, a pork chop. It was amazing! Tender, juicy, smoky. Served with rice, a small salad and SHRIMP! Honestly, just perfect. This was our first time stopping in but it absolutely will not be our last! ”

“ Came here to finally check out this place with my son and husband. We first ordered spring rolls and egg rolls as appetizers. This is the only place I know that includes BBQ pork instead of grilled pork in their spring rolls. I was a little bit disappointed that 1 order of egg rolls only comes with 3. Wish it came with more because my family loves egg rolls. Anyways, I ordered the combination pho. The broth was good. The pieces of meat were a lot thicker than I'm used too which is good. Tried my son's chow mein and it had that yummy umami flavor. This place is probably on my top 3 pho places in Reno. ”

“ It was time to update my review! Since I last reviewed this place over 5 years ago (!!), I've literally been to EVERY Pho place in the area and Pho Restaurant (phorestaurant.biz) STILL reigns supreme in my book. I drop in every 2-3 weeks, hot or cold weather, to get my dose of my favorite Pho in the area. Let me reiterate what I said in my earlier reviews: the depth of flavor in the broth, the amount of proteins in the #1 Pho (still my fave), the condiments served on the side to add to the dish and the service are still the best in my opinion! I always get a large...it's a full meal...if your appetite is a little smaller, get the regular size... The owner, Liem Le, even introduced me to a couple of things to add to my Pho to make it even more like the traditional style he grew up with in Vietnam. He now adds a raw egg to the piping hot broth right before serving. When it arrives, he taught me to break it up before it sets and mix it throughout the dish to add an unctuous texture that's not to be missed. If you like big spice like I do, make sure you ask for their chile oil...that'll kick it up a notch! I also get one of their Ramen Eggs to add to my Pho. Did you catch that? YES...I said Ramen! They now have 2 types of delicious Ramen as a daily special...and it's some of the best I've had around the area! Try the Lucky Ramen...that's my fave of the 2 offered. All of their other dishes are delicious, too...stir fry, noodle dishes, rice dishes...try the Pork Lollypops and their Spring Rolls. It's a small place, so if you get there and it's packed (which happens a LOT because it's so popular and so good), don't be discouraged if you can't get a seat...order it to-go or if it's during the warmer months, they have a nice covered patio area for extra seating. All in all, this is a place that I highly recommend. There's a lot of choices in the area that do a great job...there's some that I don't enjoy...but, this is where I go for my favorite Pho! ”
